2010 SOHIPOTOME Women In Hip Hop Honoree...

SOHIPOTOME Women In Hip Hop is pleased to announce the fourth Honoree for 2010.

As the founder and owner of Atlanta Beat Battle, Atlanta's number one producer event in Atlanta, Jasmine Ancrum is a young mogul in the making. Jasmine (better known around town as Jas or Miss Beat Battle) has been involved in the music industry since the age of 17. Graduating from high school she was well aware and focused on her next phase in her life. While interning at Atlanta's Hot 1079 radio show morning show, she absorbed the knowledge of the music industry and grasp the business side. Destined to have more creative control of the projects she was involved in, Jasmine began ATL Beat Battle in September 2007 with only $200 and cell phone full of relationships!

ATL Beat Battle was founded on the principles of providing producers a platform to been seen and heard by music industry executives. In just two years Atlanta Beat Battle has become Atlanta's premier producer event. Producers from all over the country, and as far as Italy, have attended to showcase their beats. ATL Beat Battle is continuing to impact the lives of producers and artists by helping them advance to the next level.

Past judges include: DJ Don Cannon (50Cent &Young Jeezy); DJ Sense; La President of Aphiliates Music group, Grammy Award winners: the J.U.S.T.I.C.E League (Rick Ross & Mary J. Blige); Chino Dollar (Yung Joc), Grammy Award Winner Maestro (Lil Wayne); Fatboi (Gucci Mane); Tha Bizness (Yung Money & Young Jeezy); Needlz (Jadakiss); and many more.

With more ideas and growing passion Jasmine is hoping to take Atlanta Beat Battle on tour across a few states to continue providing a platform for producers to not only be seen but heard!
